The Maui/Kea Lani turned out to be a fantastic choice and perfect match for what we were looking for. Wailea was a much better location for us and we drove around most of the island.
The best parts of the trip were the tours you suggested. The sunrise bike ride and the helicopter trip. Both were unbelievable. We recommend both highly!
